Questions about Greetmark
Your page is for everyone. Your card is for the people you meet. Here is how that works, and how it differs from what you use today.
What is Greetmark?
A business card for meeting in person. You get a QR code and a page at greetmark.com/you. When someone scans your QR, a short chat asks for their name and email, they get your card by email, and you keep their details with the day you met and what you talked about.
How is it different from a paper business card?
Paper cards end up in a bag with no memory of who gave them or why. With Greetmark, both sides keep the contact, and yours comes with the date, the event if your calendar shows one, and what you talked about.
How is Greetmark different from Popl, Blinq, HiHello and other digital business cards?
Most digital business cards hand out a link, by QR or an NFC tap, and anyone with the link sees everything on it. Greetmark keeps two tiers. Your page is public. Your card, with the details you share only in person, such as your cell phone, goes only to people who scan your QR. And it works both ways: they get your card, and you get their name, email and what you talked about. No app and no NFC hardware needed.
How is it different from Linktree?
Linktree is a public page of links. Greetmark gives you that page too, with your photo, title, links and a Save contact button, plus a card for the people you meet in person, and a record of who they were.
How is it different from LinkedIn?
LinkedIn connections pile up with people you've never met, many of them selling something. Every contact in Greetmark is someone you met in person, with the day you met and what you talked about.
Do the people I meet need an app?
No. They scan your QR with their phone's camera and chat in the browser. Nothing to download and no account to create.
What do the people I meet get?
Your card by email, with the day you met, and a contact card they can save in one tap, including anything you share only in person.
What do I get?
Their name and email, what you talked about, the date, the event if your calendar shows one, and any photo they chose to share. Everyone you've met, in one list you can search and export.
Is my cell phone number public?
Only if you choose. For every detail you pick Public, Share in person, or Off. Your phone starts as Share in person, so it goes only to people who scan your QR.
Does Greetmark use AI?
Yes. Your card chats with the people you meet: it greets them, answers questions from the bio you write, and asks for their details. You set what it says.
What does it cost?
Your card is free. Greetmark for Teams, for companies that sponsor their people's cards, will be a paid plan.
How do I get a card?
Greetmark is invite-only for now. Meet someone who has a card and scan their QR, or join the waitlist on the home page.
What happens to my data?
We never sell it, and there are no ads or analytics. Visitors' details go to the person they met, and to nobody for marketing. You can export your contacts and delete your account at any time. The Privacy and terms page has the details, including the services that help run Greetmark.
